The Reassurance Network was established in 2003 by Malcolm Guy, one of the founders of the ethical trade movement at The Body Shop, a global pioneer in sustainability.

Passionate about corporate responsibility, Malcolm set up TRN as one of the first dedicated consultancies to provide assurance to leading companies such as British Airways, EON and NEXT, before specialising in responsible supply chains.

Malcolm worked with John Ruggie in developing Human Rights Due Diligence, was a principal advisor to the Bangladesh Accord and has spoken widely to industry leaders on responsible supply chains.

Lyndsay Vause, an advisor to official UK bodies on labour standards, joined the team in 2004, establishing TRN as a leading authority on human rights.
