New Service: FORUM Site Engagement
FORUM is our unique approach to identifying and generating supply chain improvements, through engagement, dialogue and collaboration, producing impressive results for our clients.
The FORUM approach has helped us bring to light findings that we’ve not been able to identify through years of ethical audits. We are starting to map our salient human rights risks, really for the first time. We’ve had positive feedback about this new approach from our suppliers who are exhausted from years of audit fatigue. FORUM is also bringing it home to the buying teams in a very real way just how important the power of engagement is.
I’ve finally had the pleasure of reading through our first factory FORUM report and I’m very pleased with the results. It’s lovely to read such a positive report.
Client Successes
The Reassurance Network has been a cornerstone of the FatFace responsible sourcing programme for over 10 years, helping us to develop policies, establishing frameworks for assessing our supply chain, representing FatFace at industry events before our in-house team was brought on board and then supporting the team with local knowledge and expertise. Each member of the broader team adds value and insight to our programme and enables us to make steady progress in factory improvements as well as deepening our programme to the 2nd tier of our supply chain.
We have worked with The Reassurance Network for several years and enjoy the flexibility they bring to our audit programme through the services that they provide. This is also complemented by the training and follow-up work carried out by them, on our behalf, with our suppliers and their factories. We see them as a direct extension of our ethical team.
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Sally and Tina from The Reassurance Network. Experts in their respective fields, both brought a high level of rigour and clarity as they advised us on the development of our modern slavery prevention strategy, supplier code of conduct and ethical trade programme.
Engaging with TRN has been a real catalyst for the development of In The Style’s CSR programme. Their depth of experience and pragmatic approach has been fantastic and they genuinely feel part of the In The Style team. The global coverage of TRN has meant they have been a ‘one stop shop’ for assistance with our independent factory audit programme and I would absolutely encourage any brand requiring expert help and leadership in this area to get in touch with them.
We work with TRN as if they are an extension of our own team, valuing their expertise, input and support on the ground across our sourcing countries.
The Reassurance Network (TRN) has been a valued and trusted partner since 2007, supporting Primark throughout the creation, development and growth of our ethical trade programmes. TRN has a global team of professional associates, based in our key sourcing regions, who are dedicated to making workplaces fairer, safer and more resilient through assessment, improvement and monitoring. They regularly audit and assess working conditions and labour standards across our supply chain, feeding back detailed information and valuable insight that help us to develop improvement initiatives.
