A M M Waliuddin
I joined The Reassurance Network in 2012, bringing with me over 28 years’ extensive experience of social compliance, quality, environmental, occupational health and safety, fire safety, accounting, finance and project management.
I am a qualified advanced SA8000 auditor and an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, C-TPAT security assessment and Lead Auditor/Inspector. I have completed more than 1250+ audits and inspections in Bangladesh over the last decade, covering a range of industries, including textiles, knitting, apparel, printing, embroidery, washing & dyeing, packaging, Apparel Labelling Solutions (ALS), leather goods, FIBCs (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers), sportswear, home textile, garments accessories, jute yarn product and food. I have also conducted a substantial number of training sessions for the Fair Labor Association (FLA) in Bangladesh.
I am also a Cost and Management Accountant and worked in this role for PHULKi, a reputed NGO based in Bangladesh, from 1992 to 2011. I have completed a Master’s in Business Administration as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management.
I live by the river and lakes in Bangladesh. I spend much of my free time gardening, enjoying the outdoors and learning about the different flowers, trees and wildlife. I am also very interested in human rights, social compliance, the working environment and natural health and like to spend my free time learning about these subjects.
ALISON ROBINSON
I’ve worked in the design industry since 1999, and I’ve enjoyed being freelance since 2004.
When I first started out, presentation design and templates were the predominant requests from a variety of clients large and small, but with time I’ve been able to branch out. It’s only become more interesting and fun as clients’ needs change and I get the opportunity to pursue new ways of doing things. I never get bored!
I’ve been given opportunities to take on the challenges of more illustrative work, among other things. There’s always another answer and I’ve been lucky enough to meet people, either virtually or in real life, who’ve inspired me to explore different visual possibilities.
Outside work, there are two very chatty cats that like to gate-crash meetings, occasional ventures into playing musical instruments, some efforts at trying to keep up with my daughter learning languages, and also lots of very slow, but determined, running.
Altan Kolatar
I joined the TRN in 2012 as an auditor and a factory improvement specialist. This was a natural next step in my career since I had previously been an interpreter for Western auditors in Turkey. I was lucky to have had the opportunity to experience this invaluable field-work, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and so I decided to pursue my SA8000 certification and trained intensively with the TRN Turkey team. Prior to this, I worked for 10 years in financial auditing where I honed my analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to observe and listen and strong communications skills. I also have an entrepreneurial streak which allows me to connect and empathise with factory owners, having set up and managed my own restaurant for a couple of years. I like being a member of TRN because the team, hailing from all over the world, are so skilled and ambitious and they all conduct their work to such a high standard. I also appreciate the flexibility of how we work here at TRN, so I’m able to have a balanced personal life as well.
I enjoy my work, in particular the factory remediation and improvement work, because I genuinely feel as if I am helping workers to have more positive working environments, relationships and experiences. The kinds of skills that I utilise on a day-to-day basis are so valuable and transferrable in different contexts as well. I also enjoy thinking through innovative solutions for audit efficiency through the use of the right technologies, and my hope is that I’ll have the opportunity to flesh these ideas out through TRN.
Apart from work, my passion is music. I enjoy playing new instruments and I’m currently learning the drums (maybe one day Haman and I can have a jam session). I used to play football and tennis and I’m always open to playing again. I like to read biographies and watch films based on true life stories.
Anabela Moraru
I develop and implement factory improvement programmes and conduct social compliance audits for our clients in several European countries, including Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Moldova, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Italy and Portugal. After graduating from law school in 2011, I worked in a law firm for three years. During this time, I gained extensive experience in labour law and commercial law and as such, I find it easy to interpret almost any official documents or legislative texts! I became a certified SA8000 auditor and joined TRN in June 2015. It was very easy for me to adapt to this new role and my friendly nature helps me interact with workers and makes it possible for me to provide constructive feedback to factory management. I have to say that joining TRN was one of my best professional decisions because I grow and develop so much, year on year; I’m constantly learning from my colleagues, clients and factories.
I’m continually motivated by the positive industry changes I see myself and the TRN team driving through our work. I really enjoy discovering people’s needs and ideas, from production employees up to the top managers, and trying to weave these together to help foster a productive work environment.
I am passionate about both human and animal rights. I support and donate to several associations that help wild and stray animals. My dream is to open an animal shelter and to raise awareness about animal cruelty in my country. I speak Romanian, English, and French fluently and I also love to travel and discover the world with my loved ones!
Andac Micozkadioglu
I conduct audits for clients and provide advice, training and support to factory managers. I joined TRN in 2016 after completing my SA8000 training and have now conducted over 350 factory visits for 13 brands. I am a seasoned professional with 30 years experience in textiles, construction, energy, software development, financial risk management, business process engineering, logistics and management consulting. Thanks to my professional and lived experiences, I can truly relate to all the different types of people that I meet on a daily basis, from factory workers who may be single income earners for their families, to business owners and investors who must find ways to boost profitability, to factory managers who are overworked and have huge responsibilities within the business. I aim to look at facilities and organisations through the multiple lenses of employee, engineer, consultant, manager and shareholder. I enjoy applying a broad range of hard and soft skills in different settings and environments.
TRN generates opportunities for me to simultaneously incorporate my previous experiences while teaching me new concepts and practical tools. I find being part of a closely-knit team, delivering results that maintain lasting relationships with clients, fulfilling. It is incredible to witness the positive changes over time in the workplaces that I’ve humbly contributed to – it is a powerful sense of achievement!
Andreea Vilcu
I manage TRN’s client relationship with ASOS, River Island and Gymshark, helping to implement their responsible sourcing strategy in global sourcing regions. I joined TRN in 2013 as a certified SA8000 auditor, so on top of managing these key accounts, I also conduct factory audits all throughout Europe – from Portugal to the Ukraine. I act as a link between factories and brands to identify areas of improvement as well as to provide in-factory training, guidance and support to meet these expectations. I have a strong understanding of ethical sourcing issues in Europe as well as the local economic, political and cultural context and I enjoy being able to share these perspectives with my clients so we can develop more effective sustainability programmes together. I have a master’s degree in international marketing as well as prior work experience in people and project management, so within the TRN team, I am known for coordinating efficient and timely programmes of work, for proactively managing and improving processes and for being an analytical thinker and clear communicator.
I have a strong sense of justice, empathy and desire to create long-lasting changes in our industry. I am optimistic about the future of sustainable supply chains and I admire my colleagues for their shared commitment to making the world a better place!
Outside of work, I am passionate about psychology and parenting. I speak English, French and Romanian and I love travelling and discovering new places with my family and friends.
Aurelia Dubenco
Bishnupriya Dutta
My vast experience and understanding of the fast fashion industry comes from over 20 years’ experience working within a wide range of departments, including sampling, production, merchandising and social compliance.
The medium size garment manufacturing units in India first started being audited in 2006 -2007. At this time, factory management were reluctant to share information about their vendors and the processes that were being outsourced. After six years of being audited, I witnessed first-hand the pressure applied to manufacturers to achieve compliance expectations and the quick fixes brands and manufactures put in place to tick off assessment criteria. These practices did little to help the workforce and put extra financial burden on the manufacturer and the mentality of the workforce supervisors. Auditing did little to create improvements in the working environment.
I decided to help the industry migrate to a different platform to deliver social improvement and compliance, so in 2013 I joined TRN as an associate. We design programmes to help improve work culture and conditions and closely support factory management to achieve continuous improvements in their daily routines, rather than just apply cosmetic changes on the audit day.
I am currently working with a brand, on behalf of TRN, to improve working conditions within its supply chain as part of a FLA programme. Our focus is on supporting the sites to improve human rights and working conditions, without them feeling concerned the brand will withdraw business if serious issues are found.
Previously, I worked on CSR projects in India and Africa designed to empower women and educate workers on their basic rights regarding safe drinking water and health and safety.
Chantha Nguon
I represent TRN in Cambodia and Vietnam, where I conduct ethical audits to ensure workers’ rights are being respected and their workplace well-being is monitored. I have had a long career before joining TRN. In the 1990s, I worked for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) in primary health care, including HIV/AIDS in remote regions of Cambodia. I provided health education to sex workers, cared for terminally ill sex workers dying of AIDS, and was so deeply saddened by this that my partner and I decided to open a hospice to help terminally ill patients die with dignity. In the 2000s, I established a development NGO to provide better life choices for young women, from which Mekong Blue became our commercial venture, weaving and dyeing silk with a social purpose. I am so proud that my company was awarded the UNESCO Seal of Excellent Handicrafts in Southeast Asia three times, that we are a certified Fair Trade Organisation, and that we have served as a model of Fair Trade amongst handicraft producers in Cambodia. Our weavers are among the best in the country! In the 2010s, I worked as a specialist for the Asian Development Bank to create livelihoods for 600 women in Kompomg Thom Province. I am so happy to have joined TRN, and to share with the team my decades of experience working with women to become financially independent and productive citizens. I speak several languages; Khmer is my mother tongue, but I also speak English, French, and Vietnamese fluently.
When I visit factories for audits on behalf of TRN’s brands, I always show my genuine respect and gratitude for the fact that the owners and managers are providing jobs for our compatriots, and I present audits as a strategy to help the workers build better lives for themselves, their families, and to invest in their children’s educations. It is important to me that factory managers feel that audits are a collaborative process and that they see it as an opportunity to improve lives, especially the lives of young women and young mothers.
I love cooking, particularly my mother’s Cambodian recipes, but also other types of food. Now that my children have left for college, I share my passion by cooking for friends. I also enjoy quiet times, reading books by John Grisham and Michael Connelly.
Clement Huang
I conduct factory audits, I provide training to factory managers, and I manage factory improvement programmes to upskill factory managers, develop better management systems in factories and improve the work environment for workers. I also oftentimes liaise with TRN’s clients to provide more background and context to my team’s factory visits and to share my advice with clients on priorities and next steps after our team has completed the audits. I have a total of 17 years of experience in corporate social responsibility. Prior to joining TRN in 2016, I worked for Li & Fung for 11 years.
I really enjoy working for TRN. The level of trust built up among team members and also between TRN, its clients and suppliers/factories is the most impressive I’ve experienced in my career. Two areas of work that I find the most fulfilling are training workers on their legal rights and strengthening factory managers’ skills and knowledge in factories.
I have seen the ethical trading industry change and grow over the past two decades and I believe that with more access to information and the prevalence of social media in our lives, migrant workers are more aware of their rights than ever before and global companies are responding to this by shifting the focus from auditing to seeking real improvements in supply chain working conditions. On the other side, companies want to become more sustainable and they understand that responsible sourcing is the cornerstone of this.
I am a gentle, sunny soul. I thrive in nature, I enjoy outdoor sports and I always look forward to meeting new people.
Cristina Bolzicco
I support companies in adopting sustainable models that help drive positive change. My social and ethical commitment across all areas of my life drives me to recognise sustainability as the path to a better future. I work with companies to align with this principle.
With a PhD in Economics and Business, I’ve dedicated the past decade to driving sustainability as a manager. During this time, I’ve provided consulting, training and research services to multinational companies and public and private enterprises. My efforts have helped transform these companies into more sustainable businesses, demonstrated by their adoption of Benefit Corporations and certifications for social and environmental responsibility.
I joined TRN in April 2024 to oversee the implementation of a supply chain social compliance programme for a prestigious high-end brand based in Italy that prioritises the well-being of individuals and is committed to fostering a more sustainable future for businesses. I appreciate TRN’s diverse network and professional environment, and I am confident that our collective efforts now can make a positive impact on future generations.
During my free time, I love dedicating myself to my family, making handmade items and studying bioenergetic disciplines.
Ferial Erdinc
I provide support to TRN’s clients through factory auditing and managing factory improvement projects. In addition to being an SA8000 auditor, I have experience as an ISO 9001 lead auditor and conducting ISO 10002:2014 audits. All of this training and work experience has helped me learn how best practice factories are run – from developing strong management systems through careful planning, design and operations, through to maintenance and continuous improvement. Prior to joining TRN, I worked in operations for a number of certification bodies and I provided consultancy services on ISO standards.
I am passionate about communications, with all kinds of people. I have a degree in German linguistics, a teacher training qualification, and I speak English, German and Turkish. I feel deeply satisfied when our brand clients and the factory management have truly heard and understood the workers’ needs and allow me to provide the guidance needed to improve their working lives.
On weekends and holidays, I enjoy going for bike-rides, going for walks in the forest and in nature.
Gokhan Erdinc
I conduct social compliance audits in factories and I provide post-audit support to these sites by actively monitoring improvements, providing ad hoc training and advice, and managing formal factory improvement programmes. As a qualified lawyer, I also advise textile companies on domestic and international labour legislation and standards. Prior to joining TRN, I was an attorney in a private practice law firm, specializing in counselling and litigation in labour, employment and real estate law in Istanbul. In addition to my SA8000 qualification, I am also an ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 auditor.
I am passionate about, and have considerable expertise in, applicable regulatory and statutory standards and compliance, the ILO conventions and human rights issues.
When I have free time, I enjoy amateur photography and I also love to learn about and discover new countries and cultures.
Haman Yang
I first became involved with ethical trade 10 years ago. After leaving university, I became familiar with the garment industry through being an auditor. After visiting hundreds of factories, my role has now changed from auditor to consultant, supporting factories and workers. Besides mainland Chinese factories, I also visit factories in other industries in Taiwan and Southeast Asia. My father is an English teacher, so I learnt English very young. This has helped me to communicate with clients and factories effectively and confidently.
The best part about my work is the opportunity to communicate with different people, in different cities and in different positions, understanding their lives and exchanging stories. I find this really enjoyable. Opportunities to do this are rare unless you work in this kind of industry. TRN is also a network of partners from different countries, all with a range of skills. Learning from them also keeps me motivated.
Many of TRN’s clients are interested in doing improvement projects and factory consultation plans. I like to find ways to help factories and workers in practical way. I’d like to learn more investigative, consulting and training skills and use them to develop different kinds of workshops for factories.
Outside of work, I am a fitness enthusiast, a music lover and a brand-new mother. The last role is the hardest one, I’m still getting used to it! It’s given me a new perspective to consider when interviewing female workers.
Hanaa Baba
My main mission is to help clients evaluate, understand and support their suppliers’ businesses, policies, procedures and ethical performance. I previously worked as financial auditor and management controller with responsibilities such as control and budget reporting, inventory preparation, analytical accounting, efficiency calculation and production non-compliances monitoring. My experience in these areas was acquired during a 10 year period working in multinational organisations, where I developed my skills in gap analysis, process verification, budgets consolidation and auditing techniques. I dreamt continuously of working as a social auditor, and having the opportunity to view auditing from a different perspective. This dream finally became true when I started working with TRN in 2020. I speak English, French and all Arabic languages. I have a passion for communicating with people.
I believe in change and innovation, in continuous improvement at all levels and in growing with wisdom and in partnership with others. And for this to happen, my approach to auditing is a constructive one, based on the needs of people. I like to think that my work opens up new ways of developing sustainable businesses.
In my personal life, I am a nature lover. I love spending my spare time outdoors and enjoying nature’s serenity and calm while walking and exploring new natural spaces. I thrive observing nature in its entirety because I believe that it teaches us how to adapt to new conditions, reminds us that earth is constantly changing and shows us the beauty in simplicity. I love traveling as it gives me insight into new civilizations, customs and traditions, which is essential to building a flexible and adaptable personality.
Hannah Badminton
I joined TRN as a trainee auditor in May 2021. After working in the garment industry for the last five years, both with and for manufacturers, I decided to pivot my career toward social compliance with a company that aims to rethink and reconstruct how compliance systems and supply chain relationships should be built. I am excited to be a part of and learn from such a dynamic team who are all focused on changing the industry.
I spent the first two years of my career working for garment and accessories manufacturers in Nepal and Cambodia. Both were social enterprises dedicated to creating sustainable employment opportunities with a strong focus on labour rights and creating measurable social impact in the communities they served. These experiences shaped my understanding of the complex challenges that manufacturers face. Prior to TRN, I worked for the fash-tech start up SupplyCompass. I was a member if the original team, joining firstly as a project manager and then as a senior account manager. I enjoyed helping brands to build responsible supply chains and creating tech solutions to the challenges we faced along the way.
I fundamentally believe that ethical business practices, when implemented in the right way, have the capacity to drive change and help solve complex social and environmental issues. I aim to become a fully qualified lead auditor in the next year and use my onsite experience to reimagine how compliance can operate more successfully across the full spectrum of stakeholders. Additionally, I hope that I can innovate with the TRN team and be a part of building creative solutions for brands and manufacturers that can be replicated across all industries.
My team mates would say I’m always willing to get stuck in, I have a knack for dealing with tricky situations calmly and love learning and discovering new things from the many people I’ve had the privilege of working with. Being immersed in different areas of the industry has exposed me to many perspectives, allowing me to help people build a better understanding of one another.
In my free time, I enjoy building my knowledge on my lockdown hobby, gardening, and growing my houseplant jungle. I love meditation, hiking / trekking and all things to do with slow mindful living. My escape whilst we’ve been unable to travel has been listening to copious podcasts on culture, countries and history.
Hany Eldeeb
It was my honour to join the TRN team in 2024, as an Egypt-based auditor. My passion for auditing traces its roots back to my early career in the textile industry, where I began as a translator in 2005. Over the years, I have conducted over 300 audits across numerous Egyptian enterprises and for a diverse array of global brands. These roles represented an intensive training period during which I acquired a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
The most significant takeaway from those formative years has been the conviction I have come to embrace: an auditor’s mission, shared with clients and suppliers, is to simplify processes, identify opportunities, develop effective and sustainable solutions, and lead campaigns toward a prosperous future for humanity as a whole. To encapsulate, I believe that an auditor is akin to a bee, disseminating the most beneficial experiences and best practices from one place to another.
My passion for auditing has only grown since then, fueled by the prospect of supporting companies in embracing ethical responsibility toward their workers and social responsibility toward society at large, all while safeguarding a sustainable ecological system. This journey has granted me invaluable opportunities to engage with diverse cultures, refining my skills and enriching my humanistic perspective. I speak all Arabic languages, Turkish and English.
Personally, I am someone who finds solace in the embrace of nature, cherishing time spent with my family in the serene countryside. I am an avid reader with a keen interest in exploring diverse cultures. To me, as long as one continues to learn, one remains truly alive.
Haricleea Spaler
I support brands to implement and maintain their sustainability strategies and communications with their suppliers. I specialise in ethical trade and responsible sourcing. After completing my MSc in European Studies, I spent eight years working in textile production, before becoming a sustainability consultant 5 years ago. I have supported companies from the fashion, personal care, warehousing, distribution centers and sports industries on their sustainability journeys. Since joining TRN in 2016, my colleagues and clients’ abilities to bring about positive change have continually inspired me.
I am passionate about women’s economic empowerment and financial inclusion in the context of global supply chains and social entrepreneurship.
I live in country which has sea, mountains, lakes and rivers and I use every opportunity to spend time discovering the beautiful nature of Romania, together with my friends. I am also interested in healthy living, and I love running, skiing, swimming and trying new sports when I have the chance.
HELENA PEREZ
I am one of those lucky people: I do what I love and I love what I do. In my case it’s contributing to improving working conditions and environments in companies and in their global supply chains.
I do it by creating safe spaces where people can discover ways of building relationships to achieve greater connection. I apply knowledge and experience from different fields and disciplines to improve working environments making them more friendly, inclusive and sustainable. I pursue things that I am drawn to, international labour standards, applied creativity, collaborative communication, creative problem solving, change management, visual thinking and communication, gamification… and by bringing them together, I can respond to “old problems” with alternative solutions. I believe that through the ideation and implementation of small changes in complex contexts we can achieve greater impact.
During the past 20 years, I have designed learning experiences and trained over 4,000 professionals from 200 organisations in more than 35 countries, including human resources professionals, CSR experts, ethical trade managers, labour inspectors and workers. And lately, also online! My unique creative approach to finding solutions inspires labour practitioners and has led to the publication of my first book, Learning right: 222 small ideas for one big challenge A book for managers and trainers in global supply chains.
I follow my curiosity to bring my authentic self to my clients and to learning environments, choosing courage over comfort. If there is a challenge, there is a small solution waiting to be discovered.
Irina Belu
I joined the amazing TRN team in 2017, and wear a number of hats including auditor, assessor, consultant and admin support. My passion for supply chain ethical responsibility started 18 years ago, with my first assignment to monitor CSR compliance in a textile factory. I’ve been involved in this field ever since, undertaking various roles including plant CSR manager, internal auditor, consultant for a Puma factory, consultant for suppliers and currently as auditor for several of TRN’s clients.
I have conducted more than 350 brands’ audits and assessments – on site and virtual – in over 14 countries since joining TRN. This has given me the opportunity to interact with various cultures, meet fantastic people and to gain a better understanding of the responsibility phenomenon, in which we all need to play a part. On top of that, the 15 years I spent working in textile factories has given me insider knowledge which has been invaluable in my current role. I am proud and grateful to work with TRN as this experience has made me a better person, professionally and individually.
I enjoy communicating with people at all levels, and my goal is to understand them and their ways of working to go beyond auditing. I strongly believe that understanding leads to the best solutions and if there is something I learnt over many years it’s that a good communication is the best way to connect, align with and support communities. TRN and its clients’ principles align perfectly with my motto: “HOW CAN I HELP?”.
Over the years, particularly in the last decade, I’ve witnessed how important ethical and sustainable supply chains are for clients and for consumers. I can’t think of a better way to have a positive impact on communities than by continuing to develop CSR programmes on behalf of this challenging industry.
Jasjit Sodhi
I help factories and brands to understand, develop and implement strategies and communications and specialise in ethical trade and responsible supply chains.
After completing my bachelor’s and MBA (specialising in Human Resources), I spent 16 years in industry and factories. I started my career in 1989 with one of the main spinning and sewing thread companies. By the time I left in 2005, I was Head of Production & HR. I moved straight into ethical trade auditing, and since then, I have visited more than 2000 factories and supported companies from the apparels, agricultural, handicrafts and jewellery, sports goods, leather (shoes, saddlery & tanneries), carpet, brass items, spinning mills, dyeing and printing units and food industries on their ethical journeys.
During this time I have completed LA/ Advanced lead auditor courses in ISO 9001:2015 (management systems), ISO 14001:2015 (EMA), OHSAS 18001:2007, Social Accountability – SA8000:2014, ISO-22001:2018 (Food Safety), WRAP and BSCI, in addition to ZDHC’s chemical management training.
On the beyond auditing side, I have completed short term courses on comparative equality & anti-discrimination laws (Standford University), biases and humanitarian and labour law.
I provide clients with both the theory and the practical steps they can take to implement best practice programmes. Since joining TRN in 2010, I’ve been continually inspired to do better by the team’s desire and ability to create genuine industry change, and by our clients’ willingness to sustain new ways of working.
I spend much of my free time with my family. I have zero tolerance towards unethical issues and untrustworthy people. By virtue of my profession, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places and cultures. I also like to read and listen to comedy shows.
I am currently pursuing a PhD as there is still so much to learn about social auditing to help industries to improve their working conditions.
Jill Banga
I joined The Reassurance Network in October 2012 and became a certified SAI SA8000 Lead Auditor in March 2013. I have conducted over 500 ethical social compliance audits in the UK and overseas.
I have 25 years hands-on experience of working within the garment manufacturing sector. I keep up to date with the local economic, social and political climate to ensure I can provide tailored and practical advice to factories to implement successful improvement programmes. Brands commission me to undertake audits for them as I am skilled at understanding and knowing how to handle sensitive, cultural and social issues.
I have been involved in the development of the Fast Forward (FF) audit programme since its inception, and was one of the first auditors to deliver FF audits in the textile industry. FF is a labour standards improvement programme, combining a proven forensic auditing methodology with a collaborative beyond audit programme to support suppliers and brands to continuously improve. I currently manage the FF audit programme for TRN.
I hold a degree in business studies and home economics and have a teacher training qualification. I speak fluent English, Hindi and Urdu. My language skills and empathetic nature have enabled me to help many workers in the supply chain. I am passionate about raising worker awareness about how to speak up for their rights.
Lily Li
I joined TRN in the autumn of 2022. My job is to support clients on ethical trade, including visiting their manufacturers and providing recommendations ans support to bring about sustainable improvements.
I live in Taiwan and I speak Taiwanese Hokkien, which is a major dialect in Taiwan. After graduating from my double degree in philosophy and labor relationships, I continued to study labour relationships in graduate school. My first job was as a research assistant at a university, working on protecting distant fishery workers’ rights. Then I worked as a Government inspector, carrying out over 200 labor Inspections.
My studies in labor relationships and experience of working for the Government provides me with a strong background in the Labor Standards Act of Taiwan as well as enabling me to understand and communicate with employees well. The discipline of philosophy helps me think in a creative and speculative way.
I am motivated by knowing that I can help people in industrial relations to communicate efficiently. I hope my work can help others live a better life, help companies to develop sustainably, and help make the world more wonderful.
I like to travel, and I enjoy nature or places with a long history. When I’m free, I read books about philosophy or sociology, go jogging and do yoga. I am always open to new things. Recently, I have been giving weight training a try.
Lyndsay Vause
I joined TRN in 2005 to develop our ethical auditing programme. I previously worked for a large UK retailer, firstly as a technologist and then as an SA8000 trained ethical auditor in its new ethical trade department.
I’ve visited hundreds of factories throughout Europe and beyond, enabling me to gain a greater understanding of different cultures, work environments, employment best practices and the ways people can be exploited or mistreated. Through my early auditing work it became clear that responsible employers were looking for guidance and support to improve their working conditions, and that they valued external views and knowledge when offered in the right way. As TRN’s Audit Director this is the approach I embed in our team. We want to make a positive difference in the workplace, actively listen, communicate clearly and drive forward improvements, putting people at the heart of it all.
As the global workforce shifts due to changes in industry, regional conflicts and economic pressures, so do human rights and environmental challenges. The need for both TRN and our clients to continuously learn, inform internal and external stakeholders, challenge outdated ways of working and adapt is so important. I am proud to be part of an organisation that works collaboratively with our clients and their supply chains to respond to a changing world.
Alongside training and maintaining high standards of auditing amongst our global team and managing audit programmes for several clients, I also continue to carry out Fast Forward, Complyer labour provider and Code of Conduct audits in the UK and Ireland. I enjoy being able to provide our clients with a personalised service, understanding their needs and connecting our global team members more closely with them. I believe it’s extremely valuable for clients to get to know the TRN team and appreciate their wonderful personalities which helps to build up trust and rapport.
Down time is spent gardening, rescuing plants in the ‘bargain corner’ of shops, killing house plants with kindness, and planting as many trees and hedge plants as I can for the local wildlife to make a home. They make good neighbours.
Malcolm Guy
Since my time as a production manager in the 1980s, I have been passionate about the potential for manufacturing to create teams, enrich communities and help individuals to grow and develop in the workplace. Since 2003, I have worked to build a team at The Reassurance Network that not only shares this passion but can also make a difference.
There is still a huge amount of work to do within supply chains to protect vulnerable people from exploitation and make sure that minimum standards of safety, pay, fairness and equality are met. But it is important that we set our sights far higher than this by working with brands, suppliers, managers and employees to create fairer and more resilient supply chains that are attractive places to work for future generations.
I am hugely excited by the current pioneering work being carried out by The Reassurance Network’s teams across the world that are building new models and new approaches to ethical trade. By understanding and responding to the current and future needs of people working within supply chains, we work to optimise the relationships between factory managers and workers, and between brands and their suppliers. This collaborative, forward-looking approach offers an opportunity for a brighter outlook.

I support clients to build sustainable businesses, and reshape their ethical compliance programmes based on the needs of their partners. I aim to help create successful companies that look at the future in a responsible way, by recognising the value of their employees and by facing challenges together. After I completed my master’s degree in European law and politics in France, I worked as an editor on labour law and European conventions within the Romanian Parliament for five years. This role helped me to gain the experience and the drive I needed to start my real journey fighting for human rights. I joined TRN in 2008, and I feel proud to work with incredibly passionate and responsive colleagues and clients from a range of industries with whom I develop and run social compliance training, sustainability and labour rights workshops, supplier due diligence systems and audit and consultancy programmes worldwide. I believe in the power of collaboration, and for this I use my communications skills in languages like English, French, Italian and Romanian.
As EMEA Manager, I coordinate a team of professional people, who make it possible to work with some of the biggest global brands in the fashion industry. Encouraging clients and stakeholders to engage in open dialogue, transparency and honest partnerships, and to realise the benefits this brings, remains my biggest passion and my biggest challenge. Every little success strengthens my commitment to this cause.
I love my work as it takes me in the farthest and most contradictory places around the world, where I get to witness the beauty of life and also people’s struggles and the inequality in societies. These experiences enable me to have a fuller picture of life, and to see where I should position myself and where I can add value. I love reading, spending time in nature with my family and sharing experiences with friends. And I believe in people, and in their power to adapt and become better.

My path to joining TRN was an interesting one. At university I studied Chinese Literature, and upon finishing my bachelors I took a job as a magazine editor. It was soon after this period, though, that I was fortunate to find a career path in which I could apply my strongest skills: connecting and collaborating with people. I began as a Corporate Social Responsibility Auditor and later became a consultant with TRN. I am now proud to be able to support my team in a variety of roles as needed. I benefit immensely from the environment created by my colleagues, one of integrity, trust, responsibility, teamwork, open-mindedness and caring for each other.
As both a qualified auditor and skilled communicator, my primary role is to facilitate process improvement by strengthening the relationships between the factories and their clients. During the past 10 years with TRN, I have performed over 1000 on-site factory visits, working with a variety of clients throughout the fashion supplier chain in China, Taiwan and Indonesia. During this time, I have witnessed a change in my industry as my duties in the factory have shifted away from finding ‘mistakes’ and moved towards building trust between clients and factories in order to work together towards a common end.
I am driven in my work by my love for people; every individual is so unique and vivid to me. My goal is to always try to find a way for creating fair and honest work environments, better working conditions and a reasonable work-life balance within the factories. To better achieve these objectives, I am focused on learning more about my trade and eventually becoming a trainer.
I am endlessly curious when it comes to people and have directed that curiosity towards studying behavioral science for the last couple of years. Aside from also being a bookworm and a science nerd, I love creating music. I have been singing professionally for some years now, and more recently began playing the guitar. Music makes me feel content, as does my family. Few things are more important to me than spending time with my people, including my cuddle-monster-of-a-cat Laba (Chinese word for a very loud horn instrument) and my fellow-nerd-partner.

I’ve been a social compliance auditor in the TRN Turkey team since May 2018, following the completion of my SA8000 auditor training. Prior to joining TRN, I worked for national and multi-national companies in the FMCG, telecom, durable goods and industrial production manufacturing sectors in Turkey and in many CIS countries. These roles provided me with a broad understanding of corporate responsibility, both from a working conditions and brand perspective.
TRN is a global family and I enjoy working with my fellow colleagues and clients from all around the world. I believe auditing and consulting is a way of guiding professionals to set their companies on the right path to success and I am grateful I have an opportunity to share my experience and help others to improve themselves. I find being a part of TRN’s tailor made approach to strengthening a factory’s ethical trading abilities and improving working conditions very rewarding.
I love to grow, plant, garden and hike. I am grateful that these activities provide me with enough energy to improve my quality of life.

My role here at TRN is to conduct a range of social accountability and ethical audits and assessments. I have been in the CSR industry almost since its inception in 1997. I now have over 20 years’ experience, and I have been involved in the development of many successful programmes which have ultimately improved peoples lives in the supply chain. I am an IRCA approved trainer for the Social Systems Lead auditor course and an APSCA Certified lead auditor. I consider my main strength to be being able to understand the CSR issues from an array of perspectives including the client, the manufacturer, the employees and the auditor. A good day’s work is when my site visit has had a positive impact on the employees and the site management.
I fell into quality assurance and then human rights and CSR via an opportunity to work in Thailand as an Export Manager. This was a steep learning curve and I use this experience to look at auditing from both the perspective of the factory/labour provider and the auditor. I like to take a proactive approach to auditing, believing the role of the auditor should be to work with the site to achieve compliance for the good of the site and its workers rather than to pass an audit. I am always encouraged when I re-visit sites previously audited and find that they have not only taken on board corrective actions but have generally improved their set-up and have a renewed understanding and appreciation of CSR.
I like to travel and visit new countries (my current count is up to 46) and am fortunate that my audits take me all over the world. Away from the office I’m a keen photographer (all things nature, and old planes/warbirds!) as well as being a bit of a murder-mystery buff. I’d like to say I’m an OK golfer, but think that could be a slight exaggeration…

I have a degree in Colour Chemistry from the University of Leeds that I gained in 1989. On graduating, I took a post with Courtaulds Research based in Derby, UK and then went on to hold industrial positions with Textured Jersey dyehouse in Leicester, UK and Tencel fibres, as their global process development manager.
After a decade working in the dyeing and finishing industry, I moved to Marks and Spencer as their Dyeing, Printing and Finishing Manager between 1997 and 2007, where I was responsible for creating and managing restricted substances and factory assessment programmes.
In 2007, I left to set up Colour Connections Textile Consultancy providing advice, information and training on dyeing, printing, finishing, colour management, restricted substances management and sustainability to all parts of the textile supply chain from industry through to retail.
I am a founder member of the AFIRM Group which is the leading multi-stakeholder organisation for managing restricted substances in apparel, footwear and accessories, and I serve as chairman of the ZDHC MRSL Advisory Council (chemical inputs) and the ZDHC Wastewater Council.
I am also a founder member of the RITE Group, formed in 2007, to promote a practical, balanced, inclusive approach to reducing the impact of textiles on the environment.
I was recently appointed Chairman of the Microfibre Consortium, a multi-stakeholder group which aims to reduce the formation and discharge of textile microfibres into the environment.
I regularly work on the interface of retail and industry, and I am skilled in making complex subjects easy to understand and manageable for non-expert clients.

I am an experienced social compliance and management system professional. I am trained in various management system standards such as ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), ISO 14001:2015 (Environment), OHSAS 18001:2007 (H&S), SA8000:2014 (Social Accountability), ISO 22000:2018 (Food Safety). I have 12+ years extensive experience in governance and the development of social compliance and management systems, auditing and training. I have audited over 800 factories in India and abroad (Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Bangladesh & Nepal). I’ve provided auditing and training to companies in the apparel, textiles, home furnishing, leather goods, handicrafts and food industries. I also support clients in the development of organisational worker voice, fire safety management, chemical management, H&S and other types of factory improvement programmes.
I was a national hockey player and keen debater in my teens and early 20s. Social work is my biggest passion. Working for the community and under privileged children gives me immense pleasure. I always steal time from my busy schedule to visit orphanages and help support children through their education.
I’m blessed to live in paradise on earth by the lakes and mountains in the Kashmir valley, India. I spend much of my free time with my friends and family enjoying the outdoors and learning about the nature. I enjoy traveling and exploring new places and cultures, walking in lush green meadows, small treks, spending time in nature and listening to folk and classical music.
I love learning about social and H&S issues and applying what I’ve learnt to help improve factory working conditions.

I help clients to develop and raise awareness of social responsibility in the supply chain and I specialise in ethical trade. With an educational background in international trade and financial management, and with the intention of promoting equal rights, I joined the TRN family in 2018 and became a sustainability consultant. At present, I mainly support fashion industry clients on their sustainability journeys. Over the past four years, I’ve provided social responsibility management support to more than 200 factories and their associated brands and suppliers. I am glad that all the brands we work with care about human rights and make ongoing efforts to improve the working environment for workers. It’s because of this, I have always maintained a high degree of enthusiasm for my work. I look forward to working with you in the future.
I grew up in Xinjiang, a beautiful and culturally diverse region of China. Through my work, I hope to have the opportunity to continue to strengthen relationships between all workers, management and clients to ensure that everyone is well understood and respected.
I’m blessed to live by the lake in the city. I spend much of my free time enjoying reading and drinking tea. I hope my books become my window to observe every corner of the world and I become a spiritual traveller.

I have over 15 years’ experience in responsible sourcing, as an ethical trading manager, consultant and auditor. I have worked in a wide range of industries, in many countries around the globe, from electronics to fashion. Over the years I have developed and delivered responsible sourcing strategies, policies, training, assessments and reporting for a range of clients. Through TRN, I have conducted over 100 UK ethical audits in manufacturing and warehousing and led the way in trialling and conducting the first global certification audits for agencies. I have a degree in business and an MSc in Responsible Business Practice. I love working with companies who want to make real, sustainable improvements that benefit both people and planet.
My interest in responsible sourcing began aged 19, when doing voluntary work in South America. It was there I realised the potential for business to help alleviate poverty. I therefore chose to work for a fair-trade company for my university placement year and then got a graduate job with a FTSE 100 company who was leading in corporate responsibility. At this company I had the opportunity to set up and lead their ethical trading programme, which led to them winning the top Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Award in 2003. My passion to see business done well so that it benefits all stakeholders has not diminished over the years. I love to use my strength in strategic thinking and process design to deliver efficient, workable solutions that enable responsible sourcing to be effectively incorporated into the heart of a business.
Beyond work, I love spending time with my family and friends, walking or cycling in the beautiful nature that surrounds where I live. I also value being part of the community and serve on the leadership team of a local charity.
Ruijuan Ren
I have been working at TRN for almost 10 years now, joining as soon as I graduated from university. I work as an auditor and have visited over 100 factories. I am a details person as well as being patient and responsive, so I also spend a significant part of my time communicating with brands and providing audit administrative support to the TRN China team. I feel my TRN colleagues are like an extended family who are always there for me which I appreciate immensely. I am happy to work for an organisation and with clients that genuinely want to improve working conditions in factories.
In the future, I would like to provide more support to workers to help improve their working conditions and career prospects. I like to talk with workers and hear their stories and their thoughts. But now more than ever workers are being coached by factories to say the right things during audits so it’s very difficult to find out about their true working conditions and how they are treated. My hope for the industry is that it becomes more transparent so that it can become more ethical. My colleagues and I want factories and workers to know we really want to help them and that we all need to work together to bring about change. At the same time, I hope brands also take greater responsibility and do more beyond audit work so that they too can play more of an effective role in improving the lives of workers.

I’ve been working with TRN India since 2018. I have been involved in auditing and training for well over a decade in the fields of social compliance, management systems, the environment, and health and safety. I have conducted more than 600 audits in the last 15 years in Bangladesh, India, China and Turkey, covering different standards such as SEDEX, WRAP, BSCI, COC, GOTS, CTPAT, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS-18001, ISO 45001 for companies in the garment and textile, ceramics, steel, trading house and IT software and hardware sectors. I have participated in more than 25 internal auditor courses and 7 lead auditor courses, covering international standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
Academically, I did my M.com in finance and then subsequently did my MBA. I started my career working on a World Bank project which led me into auditing, training and assessments. I can speak Bengali, English and Urdu which enablesme to better interact with people from different cultures and races. I enjoy working with TRN as they are very prompt and give us time to plan and execute our work as per specific client requirement.
I feel that the field of audits, assessment and training will grow with the growth of import, export, buying and sales. Audits and assessments are a third eye to verify the systems organisations have in place. I enjoy auditing and training as they help to identify problems and enable clients to rectify and improve over the course of time. Having worked in auditing, assessments and training for a long time now I can see how much the industry has improved. It is very satisfying to see the growth of any sector when you are practically involved.
In my free time, I enjoy being involved in sports. I am a former national Bangladesh cricket player. I continue to be involved with cricket as a match referee with the Bangladesh Cricket Board for 1st class cricket matches / BPL. I am also an advisor to other sports clubs. I enjoy reading sports journals and websites.

I help clients to develop their sustainability strategies and communications and specialise in ethical trade and responsible sourcing of raw and animal derived materials. After completing my MSc in Sustainability, I spent four years working in international development before becoming a sustainability consultant 15 years ago. Over this period, I’ve supported companies from the agricultural, electronics, fashion, food, hospitality, personal care, property and sports industries on their sustainability journeys. I pride myself on providing clients with both the rationale and the practical steps they can take to create best practice programmes. Since joining TRN in 2011, I’ve been continually inspired by my colleagues’ desire and ability to create genuine industry change, and by our clients’ willingness to trailblaze new ways of working.
I’ve been an active environmental and animal rights campaigner since childhood. Finding ways to protect animals and ecosystems through my work remains my biggest passion. I’m encouraged to see many companies now looking for opportunities to have a positive, regenerative effect on the environment and biodiversity rather than just focusing on limiting their impacts.
I’m very interested in natural health, wellbeing and spirituality and love to spend time reading around these subjects, listening to podcasts and attempting to apply what I’ve learnt!
Samad Ahmed Bilgrami
I am a CSR professional (social and environmental sustainability), trainer and auditor, internationally accredited in schemes such as SA8000, ICS, SCAN, Sedex SMETA ETI, SLCP and QMS.
After completing a Bachelors degree in Business Administration in year 2004, I joined the textile and apparel industry to promote human recourse and sustainability, and played an integral part in helping a number of organisations to strengthen overall quality and ethical compliance management systems. Since 2008, I’ve applied my training, supplier development, auditing, research, interpretation of globally recognised management systems/standards and criteria skills to help organisations understand and adapt to the requirements of the global markets of modern world. Over this period, I’ve assessed, trained and served, in Pakistan and abroad, different UK, European and American clients/brands and their supply chains, covering the pharmaceutical, education, textile, apparel, construction, engineering, food, agriculture, handicrafts, hydro-power projects and service industries.
I have also supported projects on workers rights for large multinational organisations and governing bodies i.eInternational Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) and GLOBALG.A.P in Pakistan, and for FIFA World Cup-Qatar 2022. I also work with multi-channel mobile platforms (SMS, voice, and social media) for engaging stakeholders and measuring environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks i.e technology based approach for workers, communities, suppliers and companies.
Since joining TRN in 2012, advising a wide and diverse range of clients has provided me with insights and an in-depth understanding of how to customise =CSR approaches to meet a client’s needs and the key challenges of its supply chain, including cascading improvements down the lower supply chain tiers.
I have always been drawn to the words “CSR”, “worker rights”, “ethical trade”, “social/environmental sustainability”, “quality management” and “production efficiency”. Over the years, I have seen an improvement in our clients’ sourcing practices with supply bases in Pakistan. I’ve observed that transparency, due diligence and engagement with suppliers on the protection of worker rights and environmentally sustainable production are becoming integral business relationship conditions between brands and factories. Although we still have a long way to go to care for all people and ensure the protection of our home planet for generations to come.
Situated between the Himalayas in the north and the south-eastern coastal belt, Pakistan has a dynamic landscape, rivers, deserts, lakes, waterfalls, springs and glaciers. We have it all in great abundance. I am always interested in travelling across my country and exploring new places. I also like listening to music, watching movies and reading history and science books.

I have significant experience auditing suppliers and recruitment agencies across all industries within the UK and Ireland, with bespoke work conducted within Europe. My specialism is working with labour providers to identify indicators of modern slavery and minimise risk within their businesses, via management system audits and providing support to build more robust systems. I also conduct regular audits and assessments for many clients in line with their code of conducts. However, our work does not stop there – we also support our clients with remediation projects and supply chain training following these audits.
I joined The Reassurance Network in 2015, after completing a Social Systems Auditor/Lead Auditor. Prior to this, I worked within retail management for eight years, undertaking several different roles. I managed over 100 employees, and my responsibilities included recruitment, staff planning, payroll, identifying and implementing training requirements and internal auditing.
Modern slavery and exploitation is a huge issue within our supply chains. Unfortunately, it is so well hidden that the majority of UK businesses cannot and do not recognise indicators of this. The work we do not only supports clients with minimising risk in their supply chains; it allows us to make contact with 1000’s of workers and spread the word about worker exploitation. By speaking with workers from different industries we are leading the way by discussing these issues openly and empowering workers to speak up.
I am a sociable person and love spending time with family and friends hosting get togethers, I also spend considerable time cooking and experimenting with different flavours. I am an avid reader with a penchant for true crime books, documentaries and podcasts. I graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree in 2007 which included criminal, European and employment law.
Seda Çardak
I joined the import and export department of a food company in 1999. Six years later, I established my own business producing professional cosmetics which I sold in Africa, Asia, Europe and Turkey. In 2014, I set up a research and development laboratory which included the Turkish Government among its clients. My broad range of expertise across different sectors and experience as a business owner provides me with an in depth understanding of working conditions and employment law.
I joined TRN in 2016. I now have five years’ social responsibility experience under my belt, helping brands to monitor their supply chain through audits, consultation and training. Over this period, I’ve supported companies from the agricultural, electronics, fashion and cosmetics sectors and conducted 400 audits including Code of Conduct, ICS, SMETA audits and SLCP verification. I am proud that we are able to create supply chain improvements with our unique and innovative approach.
Finding ways to support and educate employees and improve companies, rather than just auditing them motivates me, my colleagues and our clients. I am happy to see the positive changes and improvements the industry is making year on year.
I live outside the city where I spend my time with enjoying a little vegetable garden in my yard and jogging in the countryside. I am also interested in reading and discovering new ideas, historical facts and hypotheses.

I specialise in ethical trade and responsible sourcing in various industries, including fashion, retail, food and sports. I help clients to consolidate their business strategies through implementing robust ethical compliance standards across their supply chains. I joined TRN in 2016, and over the last five years I’ve developed my knowledge and experience to become a skilled CSR auditor and consultant. I work in Europe and Africa, using my English, Turkish and Romanian language skills. I feel lucky to be working with wonderful people who are always open to new and better ways of tackling labour rights and developing sustainable environmental policies.
I am passionate about meeting new people and facing new challenges in my work. I am confident that my open and collaborative approach will drive people and businesses to change and innovate.
I am happy to live in a country with beautiful mountains and lakes, and warm and friendly people. I love travelling, fishing and football. I am motivated to live a healthy and balanced life.
Tiger Shu
When I was 16, I left my hometown to go to Guangdong, a province in the South of China, to look for a job. Finding work was very difficult because so many people were also looking, and because I was so young. After two months, I finally found work in a factory canteen washing dishes. My three colleagues and I needed to wash 50,000 dishes every day! Over the next five years I worked in many types of factories such as toy, electronics, garments, bags, Christmas gifts and shoes.
2006 was a very important year for me. I secured a different job working for a UK third party auditing company, going to factories to do worker interviews, worker and health and safety training, child labour remediation, as well as editing some training videos and designing some leaflets for the clients.
After seven years, I felt I was not always making a positive difference in the factories I supported and could not see the value of some of the work I did, so decided to leave and give myself some time to rethink my future.
So, I stopped this work in 2013, and became a construction worker. It was simple work. It did not require me to think! This job gave me time to consider what I wanted to do and what I was able to do. In 2014, Maryn and Samantha introduced me to TRN. I was a construction worker at that time. I thought this was a very good opportunity for me, and so I joined TRN in 2015.
Working for TRN has provided me with more opportunities to get in touch with and understand the thoughts and challenges of factory management, which allows me to better advise the factories. This is very interesting and meaningful work.
To date in my career, I have visited approximately 1,500 factories, reviewed 100,000 employee files, interviewed nearly 10,000 employees, and escorted nearly 500 child labourers back to school.
Outside of work, I like to play badminton, go fishing with friends, or spend time reading and thinking.
TRISH DOWNING
Over an exciting almost 30-year long communications career, I have headed up communications for several of South Arica’s leading listed blue-chip corporates and later, as a consultant, worked with a diverse range of clients, most of which align with sectors and causes about which I am passionate.
For First National Bank (FNB), M-Net (Africa’s first and leading pay-TV company), Absa (then the country’s largest financial services group and until recently part of the Barclays Group) and Old Mutual (until recently listed on the LSE), my responsibilities included internal and external communications (media, government, regulatory, investor, B2B, civil society, NGOs and other key stakeholders), corporate social responsibility, strategic sponsorships, customer care and service quality training, events, research, trade shows, corporate advertising, publications (print and electronic), heritage and museums, language/translation services and video and graphic design production. I also managed several local and international agencies and service providers.
My corporate work extended beyond the usual scope of a communications role. I was seconded to work with various government departments on a range of initiatives during the country’s transition to democracy, including the historic National Summit for Local Government (the first time the outgoing and incoming Presidents, de Klerk and Mandela, shared a public platform) and the national effort to educate and encourage women to vote in the first democratic elections. I was also involved with President Mandela’s first official State Visit to the UK and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa’s Global Information Infrastructure Commission Summit in Addis Ababa.
My consultancy clients have included the De Beers Group, the South African Revenue Services and JT International amongst others, where I worked in close collaboration with internal resources and external agencies, insourcing from my network of trusted suppliers if needed. Many of my clients are in the arts & culture and creative industries, and have included the Durban International Film Festival, the National School of the Arts, the National Arts Council and the Independent Producers Organisation (film and TV producers’ industry body), where I represent the industry in the National Priority Sectors Workgroup developing a Presidential Masterplan for the AV Sector. I was a Council Member of the National Film & Video Foundation (an agency of government) and a Trustee of the Arts & Culture Trust, the country’s leading independent arts funding and development NPO
